The flight between Lhasa and Kathmandu is the only international flight in Tibet. The flight will take only about one and half an hour and the timetable is changeable. For there is a time difference between Nepal and China, the depart time and arrival time of the following timetable is local time.

About Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport
Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport (IATA: KTM, ICAO: VNKT) is the only international airport serving Nepal, also the important window for international communication. The scale of this airport is not very big but here you can feel the classical Nepalese style from the architectural feature and the dress of the staff. It has one domestic terminal and one international terminal in the airport. You need to go to the international terminal to board the aeroplane to Lhasa.

At present, Tribhuvan International Airport served as a transportation hub for several Nepalese airlines and about 30 international airlines link Nepal with cities in Asia and the Middle East.

So far travellers can take nonstop flights to Kathmandu from following destinations: Bhadrapur, Bhairawa, Biratnagar, Dhangarhi, Janakpur, Nepalganj, Pokhara, Simara and Tumling Tar etc.
Transfer to/from Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport
About six kilometres east of the city centre of Kathmandu, Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport is very convenient to be reached. There are three shuttle bus routes connecting Tribhuvan Airport with Kathmandu City, and two buses running in one route. The shuttle buses operate from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm usually. It is more recommended to call a taxi to the airport if you have big luggage or showcase. You could bargain with the taxi driver. The price for a taxi is about 200~300 rupees (2~3 USD) in the daytime and 250~350 rupees (2.5~3.5 USD) at night.
